Eclectic Acoustic was born in 1998 across the tracks in Tallahassee, Florida, precipitated from the fertile stew of community theatre that swirls around the Mickee Faust Clubhouse in Railroad Square and nurtured in pre-show come-on-in performances and post-show party sing-alongs. Fiercely independent, the band owes its allegiance to no one, human or rat-beast, but plays the songs it loves (or likes a little) and of which someone happens to know at least one verse. Eclectic Acoustic has grown up enough to be voted by the vast, erudite readership of the Apalachee Tortoise as one of the best bands of the Red Hills Region. We’re grateful to the many establishments throughout the region for letting us play. We also take great delight in sharing our music with a long list of community and service organizations over the years.
