Mickee Faust's Year of the Rat

TALLAHASSEE’S CABARET TROUPE PRESENTS:
“MICKEE FAUST’S YEAR OF THE RAT”
The Mickee Faust Club, those crazy comedic makers of theater mischief, are sending in the clowns, the mangoes, and the funky rats for their spring cabaret, “Mickee Faust’s Year of the Rat”. The show runs two weekends, April 4-6 and April 11-13, at the company’s Clubhouse digs in Railroad Square, 623 McDonnell Drive. All performances start at 8PM.
“How prophetic!” laughs Faust, the evil twin of the other Florida rodent and alter-ego of performer Terry Galloway. “The Chinese New Year is the Year of the Rat…and it’s an election year. Perfect!”
It’s also a perfect back drop for the troupe’s plans to expand their vision for World Media Domination as they make a move to a new space at Railroad Square. The Faustkateers are working toward raising the capital needed to invade and fix up the building next door, 607 McDonnell Drive, and thus have the ability to seat more patrons and provide a place for more original art in this part of Florida that is not Miami Beach.
“We want it to be a fully-accessible space,” says Faust co-founder Donna Marie Nudd. “We want it to be a home to artists who have not traditionally had a home anywhere else.”
Tickets for the Mickee Faust Year of the Rat cabaret will go on sale at the Clubhouse Monday, March 31st through April 3rd from 4-6PM. There will also be tickets available at the door the nights of the shows starting at 6:30PM, and there will be musical entertainment in the backyard. Prices are $15/general admission and $10 for students, seniors and persons with disabilities.
